I am a Jersey Girl!  I grew up in North Caldwell, and attended West Essex High School.  My education includes a B.A. from Elmira College, and a M.A. from Villanova University.  I started selling real estate in the Caldwell area and was then moved to Montclair.  I believe that move benefitted my sellers by attracting not just local buyers, but clients from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City and Hoboken.  I am now proud to work at Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty which provides an unparalleled level of service.  I have been a consistent recipient of the New Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence, including the bronze, silver and gold levels, most recently for 2023.  I have also been recognized as a top producer for Prominent Properties, including 2022.  I also hold the National Association of Realtors Accredited Buyers Agent designation.

MY SKILLS-I have extensive experience working with both first time and move-up buyers.  My sensitivity to their needs and my knowledge of the local market areas that I cover makes me well suited to find them the best house available that suits their needs.  When working with sellers, my job is to do 3 three things-educate, create a perception of value and negotiate the sale.  My objective is to get the seller the highest possible price, which complements my negotiating skills.

The current market is very challenging due to the shortage of homes available with most homes receiving multiple bids and selling over the asking price.  Working with a top agent with experience is more important that ever.

What is the market like in 2024?  Many buyers had thought that when interest rates went up, that prices would go down.  Due to the shortage of inventory, that has not been the case.  We have seen interest rates go down slightly, and we are anticipating they could go down a little further.  Most financial analysts expect that we will continue to have a shortage of inventory throughout 2024 keeping prices high.  As of January, there are only 10 active listings in the town of Montclair and 3 of those are coops.  The range in price for single family homes is $979,000 to $4,999,000.  For information on the market in the other towns I follow, just sent me an email and I will get that information to you.
