Bloomfield

Bloomfield is a popular choice of a town which offers excellent commuting, and an interesting downtown area, currently undergoing a revival.  The Bloomfield train station is steps away, with midtown direct service into the city.  There are a number of restaurants in the area, one of my favorites being Essex Junction, a craft brewery with an urban vibe and very interesting menu.  It also boasts Brookdale Park, half of which is located in Montclair, and noted for its great summer concerts, sports fields, tennis courts, playground, and dog park.  Bloomfield offers an affordable assortment of entry level houses, making it a great choice for first time buyers.
